Bekah's 4th Birthday

On November 15th Bekah turned 4. Her Birthday was on a Sunday, so the day before her birthday we took the kids to McDonalds for happy meals and time in the  Play Place.  So people may think, what's the big deal with that?  Well, the only time our kids actually get happy meals is for birthdays- the rest of the time they get one item from the $ menu and drinks from home, and we always go thru the drive-thru. So happy meals and eating in the restaurant is a special treat for our kids.  We then had Ice cream cones and opened presents at home on Sunday.  A pretty low-key 4th birthday party- but she was happy with it.  Oh- and I forgot till I saw the pictures, but the Birthday fairy also came to our house during the night and left a bunch of pink and red balloons in Bekah's room for her.

Happy meals were always a big deal for us when we were kids. I still remember Rob and Lisa babysitting us for a weekend and getting us a Happy Meal and thinking they were the coolest ever.

She is the cutest little girl--reminds me of her mother!

That is so fun. I am all about keeping the parties simple. We usually go to the park or something easy like that. Happy Birthday Bekah! You are a cutie

How awseome that the birthday fairy left baloons! She looks like a little brown eyed Liz. Getting to play and eat whole happy meals was a treat for us growing up too, so it's all good!
