Today I have a special made by me gift to give to one of my lucky readers. Sadly, I do not have any pictures to show of it! I thought I had gotten my camera bandaged up enough to take a few last pictures with it, But it is now telling me that it can’t read the memory card and to enter a new one. So sad. So I will try and describe for you what you can win this weekend. I raided my scrap drawer and found enough super soft minky (the fuzzy material with raised bumps) in pink and black to make a really cute little sack. Hot pink at the top and black on the bottom, with a black tie to close it tight. For inside this adorable bag, I made 10 bean bags out of more minky material. These turned out so cute, I really wish I could post a picture. They are an assortment of pink, purple, blue, a different pink, black, and a pink/white/black/green paisley pattern. Not all of them are the bumpy material, but they are all soft and cuddly. My kids love the bean bags I made for them awhile back. They make up all kinds of games to play, and it is neat to see them using their imaginations instead of zoning out to tv shows or video games. If you would like to have this for your very own, just leave a comment and you will be entered into the drawing! I will even pay to ship it to you if you aren’t close by. You have until Monday at 10 a.m. to enter, and the winner will be selected randomly (begging will not increase your chances, but it will make me feel good.) If there is a lot of interest I will make Friday give-aways a habit, so spread the word!
I might be able to get a picture up before the contest is over. Someone read about my camera plight on my last post, and sent me an e-mail offering me their old camera. How cool is that? They said I can have it whenever I see them next. They are awesome. And if they want credit for their generous offer they can let the world know in the comment section!
The colors are kind of funny, but now you have a better idea of what you will be getting! The Black panel on the bottom of the bag shows more when it is being carried from the top, and the black tie is attached in the back so it won’t get lost.
